The Rockettes return with a splendid Spectacular

Radio City Entertainment returns its fabulous Christmas Spectacular to the roomy Rosemont Theatre in a tuneful dazzling light, costume and dance show that speaks to all of us. Featuring the 20 disciplined, stylish long-legged Rockettes, the Radio City show is 90 minutes of holiday enchantment.
From the opening “We Need A Little Christmas,” we experience the glamour, vivid colors and exquisite customs, gorgeous sets and lighting with a large cast of fine singers and dancers. We hear traditional holiday tunes, hymns, classical numbers featured with ambitious dance routines. The teddy bear dance, the march of the wooden soldiers, the snowman shimmy together with the thrilling classic Rocketed’ leg-kicking line routine.

From The Nutcracker (a Little Girl’s Dream)’s ballet to the swinging New York Christmas to a trip to Santa’s Candy Castle where the toys dance about to the Carol of the Bells and the authentic Living Nativity (with live animals), this Spectacular covers the season’s finest traditions and myths.
The singers and ensemble dancers deftly perform their numbers and the Rockettes’ uphold their precision especially in the wooden soldier number. This is a wonderful looking and sounding show that will warm the heart and thrill the kids. The quality production was impressive. This is a terrific show.
Highly Recommended
